November 14th Microsoft’s 30gb Zune will be released for just $249.99 (same as the 30gb I Pod). This new media device is going to give consumers exactly what they have been looking for…entertainment!
The Zune allows you to play music that you already have from your current music library and also allows you to get all the newest songs direct from the Zune Marketplace. This dynamic music service (Zune Marketplace) will be continuously updated always giving you something new to check out.
Zune Marketplace (snapshot below) wants to make things as easy as possible for you, for example…if you hear a single new song on the radio that you like you don’t have to worry about purchasing the whole album, you can just visit the Zune Marketplace and find the one song, purchase it and that’s it! On top of that, by purchasing songs individually you receive 79 Microsoft® Points per track which can be used at a growing number of online stores including the Xbox Live® Marketplace.

30GB digital media player will come equipped with wireless functionality for Zune-to-Zune sharing of music, pictures and home recordings; a bright, three-inch LCD video screen that works in portrait or landscape mode to view pictures and videos; and a built-in FM tuner. The device will be available in three colors: black, brown and white.
A selection of preloaded content including songs, music videos and film shorts are installed on the device’s hard drive to help consumers discover new artists and entertainment.
