Queens Hotel
For the past 30 years, the Queens Hotel in Barrie has been one of the most successful and longstanding nightspots, located in the heart of downtown.
The building itself has a long history, first built in 1850 as a hotel (hence the club’s current name). The famous Queen’s Hotel bar and restaurant is now one of the busiest clubs on the downtown strip, wildly popular amongst students and those who come from all over the Central Ontario and Toronto areas to party in Barrie.

The Queen’s Hotel features two separate areas, with its spirited Dance Side and more casual bar setting on the Sports Side. The Queens Hotel Sports Side is popular early in the evening, with 15 flat screens broadcasting live sporting events including Leafs games and Pay-Per-View’s. A more relaxed Queen’s Hotel pub atmosphere is felt in the Sports Side, as guests are welcome to drinks and food from the Canadian-Italian themed menu. The Queen’s Hotel restaurant is famous for making some of the best pizza in Barrie and for its nightly beer and dinner specials.
The Queens Hotel Dance Side is the nightclub section, where guests come to dance to live DJs spinning the hottest club anthems. As state of the art lighting and sound system compliments the hottest Barrie club music, and as things heat up inside The Queens Hotel Night Club, the instant cooling system is turned on to cool down the crowd. The Dance Side is also home to the heated back patio which is open during the summer months.
Year-round, you can always bet on a great night out at the Queens Hotel Restaurant and Bar in Barrie. With over 30 years of offering people a great time, they definitely know what they’re doing.
