Sound Academy
Located at Polson Pier; Sound Academy is one of Toronto's largest live performance and event facilities. The brand new Sound Academy has been outfitted with state of the art sound and lighting, beautiful hardwood floors, and has a packed line up of concerts and events the will keep any music aficionado busy this winter season.
Polson Pier
Minutes from downtown Toronto, Polson Pier boasts Canada's largest Urban Rail Snowboard Park and Indoor Skateboard Park. Throughout the winter months the 21-acre entertainment complex also includes two heated indoor soccer pitches, golf driving range with heated tees, six indoor event facilities, and Sound Academy, one of the largest live performance and corporate event facilities in the GTA.
In the summer months this winter wonderland transforms into a summer haven that includes the city's largest outdoor fully-licensed patio, overlooking Lake Ontario and the most spectacular view of the city skyline. Cabana Patio Restaurant, an oasis swimming pool, boat docking, rock climbing, two soccer pitches, beach volleyball, golf driving range (open year-round), mini-putt and a drive-in theatre are all popular features of property from Victoria Day Long Weekend in May through mid-September.
The Solarium
Formerly known as the Next Level, the Solarium plays host to two of the summer's hottest events. Summer of 2008 will see the return of both Skyline Saturdays and Sunset Session every Sunday afternoon. The upscale venue located at Polson Pier will continue to be a hot spot showcasing two large outdoor patios and the sexiest views of the downtown skyline.
Cabana
Miami-styled Cabana restaurant is located at Polson Pier, providing a great view of the city. With a cool, South Beach-inspired design, exotic menu, and a roomy outdoor terrace, guests can enjoy open-air dining; with an eclectic menu and a contemporary design created by award-winning firm Precipice Studios. The restaurant has both an interior and exterior dining area with a seating capacity of 200.
At the helm of Cabana's kitchen is exec chef John Kwan creating menu items which include summer salads, appetizers, wraps, steak, seafood, fresh fish, and an assortment of sharing plates.
Ripley's Urban Rail Park (located at Polson Pier)

Over the last few months leading up to winter 2008, the crew at Polson Pier has been quietly working away putting together what can only be described as a colossal rail park. Project designer and builder Jim Brace, owner of JBR Designs and head designer for Wakestocks Oakley pool, has built a man made snow hill with the perfect variety of rails. The setup has been designed to cater to every level of riding from beginner to advanced. This was accomplished by building two separate peaks. Our north face peak caters to advanced riding and our south face peak has been built with beginner and intermediate riders in mind. Check out the list of features below.
Our full line of rails will be open January 10th. The park is open for riding on December 21st.
Skate Park - Come out and ride Ontario's newest indoor Skate Park. We built it for you!
Over the last few months leading up to winter 2008, the crew at Polson Pier has been quietly working away putting together Ontario's newest winter skate location. Head designer and builder Emil Barklay, owner of Friendly skateboards, has created a masterpiece of flow and variety. The park has been designed for all levels of riding and caters well to both beginner and advanced skill sets. This was accomplished by filling the park with features that cater to all levels of skaters. Every one who rides should see the Skate Park. It is awesome!
